About the Role
The Business Intern will support market research, product analysis, and business planning activities to help guide strategic decisions. This role is ideal for someone analytical, curious, and interested in understanding markets, customers, and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on competitors, customer segments, and industry trends.
- Perform product research and benchmarking against comparable offerings.
- Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Support creation of go-to-market, pricing, and positioning strategies.
- Assist in building simple business models, forecasts, and performance trackers.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of business concepts (market sizing, segmentation, competition, positioning).
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Slides).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with basic data tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools, or analytics dashboards).
- Prior internship or project experience in consulting, startups, or product/market research.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, and basic financial metrics.
